Found in North Carolina in April 2004, Boomer was sporting buckshot in his side, nursing a toe that had part of it missing, and caring for a littler of five little "Baby Boomers." Each of the pups was a carbon copy of their dad. We found him at the CT Humane Society in Newington, CT, and knew he was perfect for us.

Boomer's a great family dog. He's got a soft spot in his heart for puppies, and is happiest when he has the opportunity to meet and greet people, dogs, goats, geese, cows, horses, etc., etc., etc. He's all about the fun! He tried agility for a while, but, luxating patellas kept him from ever reaching past the novice level of the sport.

At 17" and 30 pounds, Boomer is a terrier mix. Sometimes we think he's part spaniel, or lab, or hound, or poodle or Parson Russell or whatever. No matter what his DNA secrets hold, he's 100% fantastic. Possibly born in 2003 (maybe earlier?), our life has Boomed since adding him to our fur-family in spring 2004.
